Music is the healing force of the universe” Albert Ayler. In my personal opinion music elevates our soul, it is unity in diversity and more valuable than gold.
Robert Pelenkahu died on 5th July 2015 in his home in Jakarta due to a heart attack. We are very sad and will miss him and the conversations we had with him about music and life. We were blessed, that our paths crossed because of the love for music. He was one of our best friends in this place, we will never forget his beautiful soul.

OskiDj began his love for DJing at the young age of 13, with his friends making mixes editing cassette tapes.
In his late teens, his dad buys him Technics-1200’s, and he starts to make his mixes influenced by the ‘acid & house times’, of the mid & late 80s.
By the 90s, he begins perfoming his tabelist talents in different clubs of Barcelona (Chic Barcelona, Chic Molins, Fibra Óptica..)
Then accepts Resident DJ position at popular nightclub Linea 6.25 club, perfoming there for 12 years from 1992 to 2004.
Now he is focused on making Original productions–in his home studio–collaborating with his partner vocalist Tommie Cotton & U2R label
I think it was the album ‘The Real Deal’ by The Isley Brothers, that sealed it 1982 for me!

About Frank Ryle
Growning up on music, both my father and my mother were big music listeners – my mother was into folk, jazz & classical and my father was a soul-man and also very much into the crooner music such as Frank Sinatra (hence my name). Also he was a singer but never made it big, he stayed a happy amateur.
When i was about 13 years old i started to buy and collect music – at first it was everything that sounded cool – cloud be; Blancmange, Heaven 17, Robert Palmer, Gary Nyman, Depeche Mode, Human League, B52 and Haircut 100.
Then at some point i discovered soul music and early rap, but i think it was the album ‘The Real Deal’ by The Isley Brothers, that sealed it for me! Since then (1982) i’ve been locked into soul music in all shapes and forms.
Being young and collecting and buying music led me to make mixtape for friends and by that followed small DJ routines from time to time. I couldn’t afford a mixer, so i never really saw myself as a real DJ. Soul music never was the biggest genre in Denmark – and i have always been really strict on only playing soul and funk music so it was hard to get around it.
Years later, me and a good friend started a web site (soulportal.dk) focusing on soul, funk, jazz and R&B music – it was news flash, reviews and interviews about soul music and all the sub-genres. It became quite succesful over the years and it ran for about 7 years.
During that period I was asked to help a friend make a remix – a new world opened up to me. Immediately i was hooked on creating music. Quickly i had made my first song ever, it was ‘Naughty Girl’. That led to a remix from Rob Hardt and from that point we became friends and not long after the original line up was changed, to what it is today. That was in 2007 and now 8 years later we (Cool Million) have produced 4 albums and a couple of side projects plus more than 20 remixes for other artists.

Why my dad was responsible for a department store of discs, and I had the pleasure to listen to of everything, it was also the big trumpeter who to like the jazz, is ten years old I listened to of pop music, has 16 years old it was my soul period funk, and I so much liked dancing, winning of competition of ” jerk ” with James Brown or Temptations, it is also my debuts of dj, everything made accidentally, I replaced an absent dj, that lasted then 5 years in the best discotheques of moment, at the same time I was responsible for a shop of discs, day and night…. MUSIC after the life makes that; married, child later, in the year 90, I became again a bird of the night, this period I knew again clubs and left turnips.
Today with a little more available funds, me pleases me has mixer, a true delight a PASSION, and I also hope to give you of the happiness…. And what the TEUF begins!!!

I have been mixing since the early 80’s but stopped in the mid 90’s. Over the past few years a number of old friends, family and music lovers asked if I would consider DJing again. Now almost 20 years later, I am back in the mix for my own leisure. Despite my busy schedule, I am finding time to share my passion for DJing. I never realized how much I missed being in the mix.
