Dj Umbi has been practicing the dj activity in some prestigious italian clubs for over thirty years. At the beginning of his career (early ’80) his programmings were oriented above all to funky, soul and seventies disco boogie, musical kinds of which he boasts a collection of thousands of rare vinyl grooves. Subsequently, with the advent of house music, his passion for the deep and soulful sounds increased so much. It is at this point that Umbi also begins the activity of producer, which will lead him to release tracks on labels as Purple Music, HSR Records, Irma Records, Soundmen On Wax, Solid Ground, Look At You, GKF, and remixing artist us Kenny Bobien, Kathy Brown, Lisa Shaw and many others. His dj sets and productions are now a mixture of soulful,deep and latin vibes.
