After years of following the NYC deep house music scene, Michelle was encouraged by friends and producers to pursue her life-long dream of singing. She began with writing poetry, songs and connecting with her voice. Shortly thereafter, Michelle wrote “Live It”, produced by legendary music producer/DJ/Remixer, Todd Terry. Released on Todd’s InHouse Records label, “Live It” debuted on Traxsource’s top 100 Soulful House Track list in February 2014.
Also in 2014, Michelle wrote and performed “Breaking These Chains”, produced by the Saliva Commandos. Released on SOLE Channel Music with remixes by Mr. V and Ezel, “Breaking These Chains” debuted at #3 on the top 100 Soulful House list as well as in the Traxsource Top 100 Tracks of 2014.
Breaking These Chains” can also be found on Soul Heaven’s Miami 2015 and Groove Odyssey Sessions Vol: 2 compilation CDs. Michelle has recently released music with collaborators such as Cafe 432, Soulbridge, Hector Romero, Benji Candelario, Norty Cotto, William “Reelsoul” Rodriguez, Glenn Thornton, Mikki Afflick, Eddie “Eaze” Coleman, Company Men Productions and Thomas Blondet of Rhythm & Culture Music.
