Princess Freesia is a singer, songwriter, producer, and programmer from the Gold Coast of Australia. She has lived in the UK on and off for the past 7 years and released her debut album The Rainbow Ride in 2012. Freesia has also recorded 4 albums (most notably The Lapdancer, Soulperfreesia, Fast Forward, and Sunset City) with her “Partner In Chime”, UK producer Soulpersona, as well as featuring heavily on his 2009 album Soulacoaster and his 2015 album Momentum.
Princess Freesia has also cut her teeth as a session vocalist, working live and in the studio for soul legends such Jocelyn Brown, Leon Ware, Ben E King, Jean Carne, The Valentine Brothers, Roy Ayers, Arthur Baker, and Shirley Jones (from The Jones Girls). She has also been remixed several times by DJ Joey Negro who when interviewed has said “She is a talent and her CD The Rainbow Ride is definitely worth checking out.”
In her spare time she likes to focus on holistic nutrition and fitness, alternative therapies such as reiki and crystals, spending time in nature, reading mountains of books, helping people to light up, and enjoying that ‘stellarsonic’ sound.
Her album STELLARSONIC! was a crowdfunded campaign and in her own words: “I created this joint in the hope that I might ‘deliver the shivers’ via themes of personal consciousness, love, and social awakening through soulful boogie injections, retro riffs, and PLENTY OF HOXXXBEAMS, HA!” Purr-chase her albums in CD or digital format via her Bandcamp page (goes directly to the artist), iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, and all HOXXXY online digital stores!
