Bully is no stranger to the world of DJ’ing and radio, with nearly 30 year’s experience ‘Bully’ has worked alongside the biggest stars in the soul music industry with the likes of Billy Ocean, Beverley Knight, Georgie B (Special Image) Kenny Thomas, Eban Brown (The Stylistics) and more as well as has interviewed the biggest names in the soul / funk / dance scene including Will Downing, Kenny Thomas, Leee John (Imagination) Georgie Bromfield (Second Image Icon) Joey Negro, Glen Goldsmith, Howard Johnson, Jocelyn Brown, Jaki Graham and among many other international artists.

Bully has built his reputation from the early days of organising soul events at a local football club in the 1980’s, to dj’ing to upto 4,000 Soul loving people at the Margate Soul Festival, hosting to upto 10,000 at festivals and corporate events.

A regular at the Lagoona Soul event in Turkey where he dj’s and hosts. Bully also has held various residency soul nights from Plazma Club, The Big Zero Radio Soul Night Out (7 Years) Bar Zero Soul & Club Night and the very successful Soulful Seduction Nights that are full to capacity every 3rd Friday of the month. Alongside his residency gigs, Bully has djed and hosted radio shows at The Soul Family Affair Weekenders & Caister (UK), Norfolk & a regular dj in the main room events at Zero Radio’s Killer Soul.

Now very much established on the soul scene, Bully is a regular guest DJ at events around the Essex and London areas.

Radio
From Sky digital, to the Daily Mail Group, Bully has worked on local to independent commercial radio. Bully has been involved with various management teams launching radio stations to the FM status. Bully’s dedication to radio has been with him for now well over 28 years from his early roots as radio presenter through to production & training advisor for a number of radio stations throughout Essex, UK. He has produced and presented a soul music radio show for now over 15 years bringing the music to the forefront of the global soul community.

Bully presents three radio shows per week and also has an successful ‘on demand’ radio show for the busy soul fan. The Soul Sanctuary Radio Show is now into its 8th year and has built a very strong radio following, Bully offers modern and classic soul, with exclusive interviews, mixes and features and is live every Tuesday evening in the UK from 7pm (GMT) Bully also presents a soul, club style Saturday night show on the global platform radio station ‘Overseas FM’ based in Spain. A Soulful house, Soul style show with a commercial edge, The Basement Radio Show with Bully is now established and into the 3rd year with the radio show, broadcasting to Spain, Gran Canaria, Ibiza, Portugal and beyond.

TV Work & Host
As well as a radio presenter & DJ, Bully is also an established compare / mc working for corporate companies such as Ford Motor Company, UNICEF, STEM, Loughborough University, IET, Brentwood Borough Council, Basildon Council and many, many other. Soul music is Bully’s interest and has manage to express this in writing to with a regular two page column in an online soul music magazine, as well as news reporting to a number of soul news media platforms, covering album reviews, music news and more. Bully has offered his writing skills to many magazines online and hardcopy, he shares his knowledge on the soul scene to many a fan across the Globe, with this experience he is now developing he’s own magazine style blog on www.soulfulseduction.co.uk and currently writing a book to be published by 2018.
